Most program participants qualify for financial assistance, and pay no out-of-pocket costs at all. When enrolled, all participants have no copayments, deductibles nor coinsurance for covered services.
Here are some scenarios:
You have Medicaid (MassHealth Standard), but you do not have Medicare.
(You must apply for Medicare Parts A & B once you become eligible.)

Your cost:

You have Medicare Parts A and B and Medicaid (dual eligible). You also meet the income guideline for Medicaid.

Your cost:
$0
You have Medicare Parts A and B and Medicaid (dual eligible), but you’re over the gross income limit for full Medicaid coverage.

Your cost:
Based on a formula.
You have Medicaid plus either Medicare Part A or Medicare Part B.

Your cost:
Determined on an

You have Medicare only. That means you have Medicare Parts A and B, but you do not have Medicaid.
