Caregiver support and resources

Providing care for a loved one can be fulfilling. It can also present challenges, especially in combination with work and other family and personal responsibilities.

Summit ElderCare participant

Summit ElderCare participants’ care is managed by a team of professionals with expertise in geriatrics. However, families, caregivers and participants are fully involved in decision-making. Some of the ways we support caregivers include:

  • Individualized consultation on care plans
  • Team of care providers to work with you and your loved one
  • 24-hour telephone access for emergencies and unexpected situations
  • Caregiver support groups

Tour one of our centers

It’s helpful to visit one of our Summit ElderCare Centers to see how we take care of the individual needs of each participant. The centers are the hub of the program, providing adult day health services, including medical care and social, recreational and therapeutic opportunities for participants.
