Jeffrey B. Burl, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Burl is an experienced clinician in geriatric medicine, practicing in central Massachusetts since 1980. A graduate of Assumption College, he obtained his doctorate from the University of Brussels in Belgium. Dr. Burl is the medical director of Overlook Masonic Health Care Systems and Overlook Visiting Nurse Association and its hospice programs, as well as the Director of the Division of Geriatrics at the Fallon Clinic. He is the Summit ElderCare geriatrician who provides care to the participants at the Charlton center. Dr. Burl was part of the original team that was instrumental in the initial development of the Summit ElderCare PACE program. Dr. Burl is a member and secretary of the board of the American Medical Directors Association, a nationally recognized organization serving the needs of providers who provide care to residents of nursing homes and PACE programs.
Ashraf F. Elkerm, M.D.
Dr. Ashraf F. Elkerm is a graduate of Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt, where he received his medical degree and master of surgery degree. He also completed a residency at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester where he served as chief medical resident. Dr. Elkerm has more than 20 years of experience in clinical practice and research including hospitals in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United States. He is an instructor of medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. Dr. Elkerm practices as a primary care internist at Summit ElderCare in Leominster.
Judith E. Lengieza, M.S., R.N.-C.
Judith Lengieza is a certified nurse practitioner at Summit ElderCare. Judy is responsible, in coordination with the primary care physicians, for providing primary and acute medical care to the program’s participants. Judy’s 25 years of experience as a nurse include adult primary care, preventive health care, urgent care and care of frail elders. She received her Masters of Science degree in Nursing from Simmons College, Boston and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Marquette University, Marquette, Wisconsin.
Ruth M. Miller, G.N.P.
Ruth Miller is a geriatric nurse practitioner at Summit ElderCare. In this role, she provides primary and acute medical care to participants of the program in coordination with the primary care physicians. Ruth brings over 20 years of experience in geriatric nursing disciplines to the program. Ruth received her Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and her bachelor’s degree in Gerontology/Administration at High Point University, High Point, North Carolina. Ruth cares for Summit ElderCare participants at the East Mountain Street site in Worcester.
Kathy Pulda, RN, A.N.P.
Ms. Pulda is an Adult Nurse Practitioner at the Summit ElderCare site in Leominster. In this role she provides primary and acute medical care to the paritipants of the program in coordination with the primary care physicians. Kathy brings more than 30 years of experience providing clinical care to patients throughout Central Massachusetts. She has practiced as a staff nurse for a residential facility for mentally retarded adolescents and young adults, directed the homemaker programs and case management services for home care and long term care organizations. Additionally, Ms. Pulda has held positions as a surgical staff nurse and nurse unit manager at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.
Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development at University of Massachusetts in Amherst, her Associate of Science degree in Nursing at Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Nursing at the University Of Massachusetts Graduate School Of Nursing, Worcester, MA.
Glenn R. Randall, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Glenn Randall brings more than 24 years of experience in clinical practice to the central Massachusetts community. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Rush Medical College in Chicago and the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health. Dr. Randall is board-certified in geriatrics and internal medicine. He sees patients at the East Mountain Street site in Worcester.
Suzanne T. Sullivan, N.P.
Suzanne Sullivan, a gerontological nurse practitioner at Summit ElderCare, has over 26 years of nursing experience and nine years as a nursing instructor. In providing primary and acute medical care to Summit ElderCare participants, in coordination with the primary care physicians, she brings her skills in gerontological and adult ambulatory care and other relevant disciplines to her work. Suzanne received her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Salem State College in Salem. Suzanne cares for participants at our East Mountain Street site in Worcester.
David Wilner, M.D., FACP, AGSF
Dr. David Wilner is a clinician and educator in geriatric medicine. A graduate of Tufts University College of Liberal Arts and Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Wilner holds the position of Coordinator of Geriatric Medicine Training in the Department of Medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital. He is an assistant professor in the Division of Geriatrics at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American Geriatrics Society. Dr. Wilner is medical director of Summit ElderCare and cares for Summit ElderCare participants at the East Mountain Street site in Worcester.
