Worcester, Mass., May 10, 2007―Summit ElderCare, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), announces the appointment of Suzanne T. Sullivan as a Nurse Practitioner for Summit ElderCare. In this position, Sullivan will work in collaboration with other Summit ElderCare clinical staff to provide primary care and other geriatric support services for program participants at all sites. Summit ElderCare operates PACE centers located on East Mountain Street in Worcester, and in Charlton. A new site, located in Leominster, is scheduled to open in summer of 2007.
Sullivan has over 15 years of experience in providing clinical care to patients throughout Central Massachusetts, and served most recently as a nursing instructor at Quinsigamond Community College. Previously, she held the position of gerontological nurse practitioner at EverCare in Auburndale, Mass.
She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts’ Graduate School of Nursing’s Adult Ambulatory/Community Nurse Practitioner Program, with a subspecialty as a geriatric nurse practitioner. She has also served on several committees dedicated to research and quality assurance, including the Central Massachusetts Partnership to Improve Care at the End of Life, Inc.
