Summit ElderCare appoints Neal M. Fallis, M.D., to medical staff

Worcester, Mass., November 24, 2008―Summit ElderCare®, a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), announces the appointment of Neal M. Fallis, M.D., as a member of the Summit ElderCare medical team at its Charlton site.

An internal medicine physician, Dr. Fallis provides comprehensive medical care to Summit ElderCare participants, including chronic disease management, and acute and preventive care. He works in collaboration with other Summit ElderCare interdisciplinary team members who specialize in geriatric care of older adults. The Summit ElderCare PACE program provides medical care, insurance and support services that help participants remain in their own homes as an alternative to nursing home placement.

Dr. Fallis comes to Summit ElderCare from a large medical practice in Westborough, where he practiced internal medicine.

A resident of Northborough, Dr. Fallis received his medical degree from Boston University, and completed residency programs in internal medicine at the Long Beach V.A. Hospital, and also in pathology at the Los Angeles County Harbor General Hospital.

He is board certified in internal medicine, and is a member of the Worcester District Medical Society, the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American College of Physicians.

Summit ElderCare is sponsored by Fallon Community Health Plan, and is one of six PACE programs in Massachusetts and one of approximately 50 programs nationwide.
